Interim Payroll Specialist (Project)

Our client in the retail industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Specialist to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Scan all payroll processing documents, manual checks, garnishments to the payroll
  • Prepare review scanned copies
  • Save in designated folders
  • Shred all copies upon completion
  • Shred of other documents
  • Record returned W2’s 2017 in spreadsheet
  • Prepare and review entries for accuracy

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience
