Interim Accounts Payable Manager (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Manager to join their team in the San Fernando Valley


Job Description:

  • Oversee the daily activity of the team members
  • Responsible for researching and resolving various accounting, invoice and payment processing and supplier issues
  • Oversee, train and mentor accounts payable group
  • Contribute to system and process improvements to support a growing business
  • Enter and match vendor invoices and receipts using three-way matching for PO and non-PO invoices, maintain appropriate voucher documentation
  • Process expense reports and reconcile corporate purchasing card transactions
  • Assist with vendors and others in the organization to resolve account payable related issues
  • Perform weekly payment runs, review weekly agings
  • Perform month-end close processes
  • Assist with quarterly reviews and audits



  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
