Accounting Manager

Our client in the service company industry is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Oversee, manage and coach staff
  • Manage GL operations, AP/AR, fixed assets and inventory
  • Manage monthly GL close process
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
  • Provide financial information
  • Assist with financial statement reviews and year-end audits
  • Assist with tax projects
  • Continuously evaluate and improve internal controls
  • Review and suggest improvements to policies and procedures
  • Perform SEC reporting

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and Oracle ERP systems experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience
