Interim Bookkeeper (Project)

Our client in the service company industry is looking for an Interim Bookkeeper to join their team in Santa Barbara County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare month end journal entries and accruals
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Maintain fixed asset listings
  • Perform year-end close processes
  • Assist with tax returns
  • Review and process expense reports
  • Prepare Check Run
  • Provide financial analysis
  • Generate monthly financial statements
  • Perform weekly collections
  • Record cash receipts
  • Process bi-weekly payroll
  • Manage petty cash fund

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills, Intacct and Workforce Now a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail and deadline-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
