Assistant Vice President of Audit

Our client in the investment company industry is looking for an Assistant Vice President of Audit to join their team in the Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Plan, organize, and direct internal audit operations
  • Manage the audit staff
  • Draft and present internal audit meeting materials
  • Design audit procedures
  • Draft audit reports and communicate the final results
  • Advising stakeholders on the strengths and weaknesses of controls
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships
  • Perform various other tasks and projects as required

 

Requirements:

  • Internal audit experience in asset management industry preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience
