Interim Payroll Administrator (Project)

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Administrator to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Responsible for full-cycle payroll processing of multi-state and multiple entity union and non-union payrolls
  • Data entry, review and audit of timekeeping records for compliance with established standards
  • Process garnishments and wage attachments
  • Respond to inquiries related to payroll information and payroll taxes
  • Perform research and develop an understanding of state and federal tax rules and implications of changes
  • Prepare hoc reporting as requested

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in payroll, accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
