Accounting Specialist

Our client in the hospitality industry is looking for a Accounting Specialist to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage company sales for all locations
  • Help reconcile company deposits to bank reports daily
  • Manage cash, credit card and gift card deposits
  • Assist with credit card chargebacks
  • Oversee guest refunds
  • Assist credit and gift card support
  • Prepare daily and weekly financial reports
  • Manage final close to the general ledger
  • Assist sales close process

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • A team player

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
