Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for a Controller to join their team in Alameda County


Job Description:

  • Maintain accounting policies and procedures
  • Produce financial statements
  • Manage the preparation of the corporate annual report and board reports
  • Manage annual audit
  • Monitor debt levels
  • Oversee the accounting department
  • Maintain employee stock options and cap table
  • Manage risk management
  • Oversee vendor and customer relationships
  • Manage benefits for employees



  • Inventory and manufacturing industry experience
  • Systems change management, and international business experience a plus
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong knowledge of QBO & NetSuite
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Detail, deadline and goal-oriented


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration or related field and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
