Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Controller to join their team in Santa Barbara County.


Job Description:

  • Manage Staff and day to day activity
  • Prepare AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations
  • Reconcile Brokerage statements
  • Oversite and Month end processing
  • Handle income tax returns
  • Manage Government Compliance
  • Assist with 401k plans, 1099’s
  • Manage Insurance plans



  • CPA a plus
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of MAS 90 a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
