General Ledger Manager

Our client in the retail industry is looking for a General Ledger Manager to join their team in San Francisco County

 

Job Description:

  • Oversee financial reporting and GL
  • Oversee daily operations in the accounting department
  • Manage the monthly close schedule
  • Assist with annual audits and budgeting
  • Oversee training and development of new and existing staff
  • Perform monthly reviews of actuals to forecast variances

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Strong knowledge of SOX
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience
