Interim Cost Accounting Manager (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an Interim Cost Accounting Manager to join their team in San Fernando Valley

Job Description:

  • Manage manufacturing and inventory related costs
  • Perform system maintenance
  • Prepare monthly cost reports and estimates
  • Assist in the monthly close process
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Oversee inventory levels
  • Manage labor and material costs
  • Manage the inventory tracking system
  • Assist in audit schedules

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in the manufacturing distribution or related industries
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of ERP
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail and deadline-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus and a minimum of 1 year relevant experience
