Interim Finance Manager (Project)

Our client in the nonprofit industry is looking for an Interim Finance Manager to join their team in Contra Costa County


Job Description:

  • Develop and implement goals, policies, and priorities relating to the financial management, budget, accounting, and payroll function
  • Develop and administer processes and procedures for the implementation of division objectives
  • Prepare financial reports and statements
  • Oversee audit processes, review findings, and implements changes
  • Assist in developing the annual budget, and administers, implements, and monitors the budget



  • Master’s Degree
  • Public accounting experience
  • CPA or CPA eligibility a plus
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and Yardi skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or public administration or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
