Our client in the service company industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles County


Job Description:

  • Display payroll operational best practices
  • Process payroll and maintain payroll information
  • Perform data entry adjustments
  • Validate/audit hours
  • Process final payouts and prepare manual checks
  • Assist with audit and payroll balancing procedures.
  • Perform standards control procedures
  • Maintain payroll related records



  • FPC or CPP certification
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
