Our client in the service company industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles County
Job Description:
- Display payroll operational best practices
- Process payroll and maintain payroll information
- Perform data entry adjustments
- Validate/audit hours
- Process final payouts and prepare manual checks
- Assist with audit and payroll balancing procedures.
- Perform standards control procedures
- Maintain payroll related records
Requirements:
- FPC or CPP certification
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
- Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
- Detail-oriented
- Strong work ethic
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
