Interim Payroll Processor (Project)

Our client in the service company industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Processor to join their team in the San Fernando Valley

 

Job Description:

  • Help reconcile vacation requests and accrual amounts
  • Assist with processing monthly vacation reports for payment
  • Research and resolve discrepancies related to Time Off and PTO plans
  • Enter wage assignment data into payroll system
  • Manage garnishment requests
  • Assist with processing bonus requests
  • Help maintain written procedures for job related functions
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
