Payroll Manager

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage weekly disbursement of multi-state payroll
  • Process payroll
  • Process new hires and terminations
  • Supervise payroll staff
  • Review payroll, benefits and tax procedures
  • Process weekly paychecks
  • Responsible for auditing
  • Maintain systems
  • Responsible for management reports
  • Oversee reporting and filing to reporting units
  • Maintain database of payroll transactions
  • Manage vendor relationship

 

Requirements:

  • American Payroll Association Certification
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills, ADP WorkForce Now, Streamline and ReportSmith experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
