Senior Accountant

Our client in the insurance industry is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles.

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries
  • Perform monthly reconciliations
  • Ensure that revenues, commissions and expenses are recorded accurately
  • Maintain general ledger
  • Prepare audit schedules

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
