Senior Fund Accountant

Our client in the investment industry is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare and maintain the books and records of pooled private investment funds
  • Prepare income and expense allocations to each partner
  • Determine and prepare distributions and draw-downs
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Analyze and calculate the performance metrics for partnerships/accounts
  • Assist funds’ independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers and fund administrators

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license a plus
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
