Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting

Our client in the construction and engineering industry is looking for a Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting to join their team in Orange County


Job Description:

  • Prepare the quarterly and annual SEC filings
  • Develop and approve all complex accounting policies
  • Oversee the administration of all stock compensation grants and option exercises
  • Review and update SOX documentation
  • Oversee all acquisition purchase accounting
  • Oversee all SOX compliance



  • MBA preferred
  • CPA license
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience
