Our client in the investment company industry is looking for a Vice President of Strategy & Operations to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Perform day-to-day operations and contribute to the firm’s growth efforts
  • Oversee internal finance team and external vendors
  • Oversee portfolio valuation process
  • Manage, develop and train new employee
  • Lead the firm’s mid-year feedback process and end of year reviews
  • Perform market and competitive analysis

Requirements:

  • Public accounting and private industry experience
  • Experience in the financial services, real estate or related industries
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
