About the Event

After several years at the Biltmore Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2025 CFO of the Year Awards found a new home at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown — illustrating the event’s growth and the county’s ongoing efforts to support their companies during an ever-changing economic climate.

The program’s featured categories included Public Company (More than $1B), Public Company (Less than $1B), Private Company (Enterprise), Private Company (Large), Private Company (Mid-Sized), Private Company (Emerging), Nonprofit, Emerging Leader, Startup, RSM Middle Market Award, Turnaround Achievement and Most Innovative Finance Team.

Congratulations to the evenings honorees: Steve Burdick at Tetra Tech, Inc., Noel Watson at LegalZoom, Mary Ann Say at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Larry Wasserman at Skydance Media, Beth Bednarski with SK Global Entertainment, Eric Andres at WattEV INc., Irene Klepp at Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission, Eric Scott at World Surf League, Chase Pion at Bezel, Alan Edrick with OSI Systems, John Yoo at Evite and Revolve Group.

“The CFO Awards is a key event each year in the finance community. CFOs don’t often get an opportunity to stand in the spotlight and be recognized for their contributions to their companies and to our communities," says Ron Blair, Century Group President & COO. "The growing impact of the Los Angeles Business Journal CFO Awards is evident in the record turnout and move to its new home at the Intercontinental in Downtown LA. We’re proud to be part of the awards to congratulate all of the 2025 nominees, finalists and winners.”
