Established in 2024, the Denver Business Journal continued honoring area financial leaders with its 2025 CFO Awards in September—recognizing the often unsung heroes of a company’s accomplishments.
“Chief financial officers not only watch the bottom line, but they also act as corporate financial stewards by assisting and coaching an owner or management team in the execution and financing of strategic innovation,” noted Keith Dennis, Market President and Publisher of the Denver Business Journal. “As well as providing financial guidance and leadership in the execution of the company’s business model.”
A total of 40 CFOs were nominated for their work and philanthropic contributions to their community and were featured in the evening’s five company categories: Extra-Large, Large, Medium, Small and Nonprofit.
The 2025 CFO Awards winners included David Colson at STAQ Pharma, Ashley Comstock with Vectra Bank Colorado, Robin Harper Cowie at Biodesix, James Rutland at Electra, Jane Williams at Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and ACE Scholarships’ Mike Pritchard received the Lifetime Achievement award. Congratulations to all of this year’s honorees and recipients!
